Notes on Classical Mechanics

Chapters 2-8 will largely cover the dynamics of a single, isolated particle. We’ll examine systems of multiple particles in chapters 9+.
We will also make use of Chapter 1, which contains many useful formulae, namely, how to express particle’s position vector r, its velocity vector _r = dr=dt, & acceleration vector r in a variety of coordinate systems (eg, Cartesian, cylindrical, spherical, etc).
